Matematik; 02. Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi; 01. Çankaya ÜniversitesiThe fractional wavelet transform (FWT) combined with zero crossing technique was applied to the absorption spectra for the quantitative resolution of a binary mixture consisting of trimethoprim and sulfachloropyridazine sodium. The absorption spectra of trimethoprim and sulfachloropyridazine sodium were processed by FWT method. In the following step, the FWT spectra were obtained by plotting the fractional wavelet coefficients versus the wavelength. Classical second derivative method was applied to the fractional wavelet signals in the wavelet domain. A calibration graphs for each substance were obtained by measuring the FWT-amplitudes at an appropriate wavelength corresponding to a zero crossing point in the derivative spectra of the FWT-signals. The amounts of trimethoprim and sulfachloropyridazine sodium in tablets.Article Citation - WoS: 4Citation - Scopus: 4Fractional Wavelet Transform for the Quantitative Spectral Resolution of the Commercial Veterinary Preparations(Chiminform Data S A, 2011) Kambur, Murat; Baleanu, Dumitru; Narin, Ibrahim; Dinc, Erdal; Candir, Secil; Baleanu, Dumitru; 1494; 6981; Matematik; 02.02. Matematik; 02. Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi; 01. Çankaya ÜniversitesiFractional wavelet transform was applied to the quantitative spectral analysis of oxytetracycline and flunixin megluminein in a veterinary combination. A concentration set of 15 binary mixtures containing oxytetracycline and flunixin megluminein in the range of 4-36 mu g/mL oxytetracycline and 2-34 mu g/mL flunixin megluminein were processed by fractional wavelet transform (FWT) method. Partial least squares (PLS) and principal component regression (PCR) were applied to the FWT-coefficients to obtain FWT-PCR and FWT-PLS. The validity of the proposed FWT-PLS and FWT-PCR approaches were carried out by analyzing the synthetic binary mixtures of the related veterinary compounds. The proposed combined approaches were used for the quality control of the commercial veterinary formulation of compounds.
