In that context, the interaction of organizational communication and organizational silence and its sub-dimensions (acquiescent/accepted silence, defensive silence, prosocial silence) were explored. With this aim, an empirical study was conducted on 324 employees working in aircraft maintenance centers in Ankara. According to the results of the study, it is proved that there is a significant negative association between organizational communication and organizational silence. It’s also determined that there is a significant negative relationship between organizational communication and accepted silence & defensive silence. On the other hand, the results indicated that there is a significant positive relation between organizational communication and prosocial silence (which is the other sub-dimension of organizational silence).
