| gperson.biography | S. Kemal İder received his BS and MS degrees in Mechanical engineering from the Middle East Technical University, in January 1976 and November 1976 respectively, and MA degree in Economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1979. After working as a design engineer for five years in Ankara, he completed his PhD study in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1988 and joined the Middle East Technical University Mechanical Engineering Department as a faculty member in 1989. In this department he was appointed as a Professor in 1996 and served as Department Head in the years 2003-2008. He is a faculty member at the Mechanical Engineering Department of Çankaya University in Ankara since 2013. He is currently Dean of Engineering at Çankaya University. He has authored/coauthored about 45 SCI papers in the dynamics and control of mechanical systems. | |
