Abstract
The common fixed point for ordered generalized φ−contraction in the environment of an ordered fuzzy metric space is determined under min-imum possible conditions. A result in ordered metric space is also obtained. The work is supported with a suitable example. Further, as an application, the utility of the present work is shown by solving functional equations in dynamic programming, which are beneficial in mathematical optimization as well as computer programming.
