dc.description.abstract This paper presents a droplet based single cell screening concept, where the cells encapsulated in microdroplets are monitored by integrating a commercial CMOS image sensor to the microfluidic chip. The images acquired through the image sensor are streamed and processed via an Android-based application on smartphone. This integrated system offers microscope-free screening of cells within the droplets based on their shapes. © 17CBMS-0001. en_US
