In fact, rural identities are considered to be threatening by the increasing attention of touristic activities to these authentic settlements. As a result, it is crucial to take sustainability of rural identity into consideration in rural planning activities. However, indigenous formation of rural settlements creates their own dynamics and sustainability parameters vary accordingly.
