For various order of Bessel-Gaussian beam of the first kind, the source size, propagation distance, wavelength, this formula is analyzed numerically in moderate turbulence, high turbulence and under free space condition. Results have shown that Bessel-Gaussian beam behaves as Gaussian beam and radius of curvature of Bessel-Gaussian beam decreases with growing turbulence levels. Results have also shown that the radius of curvature increases with the increasing source size and changes slowly with the wavelength.
