Article Citation - WoS: 11Citation - Scopus: 11Best Proximity Results on Condensing Operators Via Measure of Noncompactness With Application To Integral Equations(Chiang Mai Univ, Fac Science, 2020) Gabeleh, Moosa; Karapınar, Erdal; Asadi, Mehdi; Karapinar, Erdal; 19184; Matematik; 02.02. Matematik; 02. Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi; 01. Çankaya ÜniversitesiWe prove the best proximity point results for condensing operators on C-class of functions, by using a concept of measure of noncompactness. The results are applied to show the existence of a solution for certain integral equations. We express also an illsutrative examples to indicate the validity of the observed results.Article MANN AND TSHIKAWA ITERATIVE PROCESSES FOR CYCLIC RELATIVELY NONEXPANSIVE MAPPINGS IN UNIFORMLY CONVEX BANACH SPACES(2021) Aliyari, Marjan; Gabeleh, Moosa; Karapınar, Erdal; 19184; 02.02. Matematik; 02. Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi; 01. Çankaya ÜniversitesiIn this manuscript, we study the convergence of best proximity points for cyclic relatively nonexpansive mappings in the setting of uniformly convex Banach spaces by using a projection operator defined on proximal pairs. To this end, we consider the Mann and Ishikawa iteration schemes and obtain strong convergence results for cyclic relatively nonexpansive mappings. A numerical example is presented to support the main result. We then discuss on noncyclic version of relatively nonexpansive mappings in order to study some convergence conclusions in both uniformly convex Banach spaces and Hilbert spaces.
