Best Proximity Point Theorems for Kt-Types Cyclic Orbital Contraction Mappings
(House Book Science-casa Cartii Stiinta, 2012) Karapınar, Erdal; Karapinar, Erdal; Petrusel, Gabriela; Taş, Kenan; Tas, Kenan; Matematik
In this manuscript, three new KT-types cyclic orbital contractions are defined and some related best proximity point theorems are given. Also, the notion of KT-type cyclic orbital Meir-Keeler contraction is defined and some fixed point theorems for this class of mappings are proved. The results of this manuscript generalize some theorems, on the same subject, of several authors, such as Kirk-Srinavasan-Veeramani, Eldered-Veeramani and Karpagam-Agrawal.

Perov Type Mappings With a Contractive Iterate
(Yokohama Publ, 2021) Karapinar, Erdal; Karapınar, Erdal; Agarwal, Ravi P.; Yesilkaya, Seher Sultan; Matematik
In this study, we refine the well-known Perov fixed point theorem by using the idea of the contractive iterative at a point in the framework of vector valued metric space. The obtained results of this paper cover the some existing results in this direction in the literature.

Ample Spectrum Contractions in Branciari Distance Spaces
(Yokohama Publ, 2021) Karapinar, Erdal; Karapınar, Erdal; Lopez de Hierro, Antonio Francisco Roldan; Shahzad, Naseer; De Hierro, A.F.R.L.; Matematik
Very recently, the notion of ample spectrum contraction has been introduced in order to unify, under the same axioms, a large number of contractive mappings that have had great success in the field of Fixed Point Theory in recent years and that have been used in a wide variety of applications in Nonlinear Analysis (Meir-Keeler contractions, Geragthy contractions, contractions under simulation functions, contractions under R-functions, etc.) However, the subtle conditions that define ample spectrum contractions cannot be extended as they are to new kinds of abstract metric spaces because they involve key properties that are only fulfilled in metric spaces. In this paper, based on a very recent work in which the authors unravel the essential properties of the topology in Branciari spaces, we investigate the reasons why the proposed axiomatic fails in Branciari spaces and we illustrate how to overcome such drawbacks. As a consequence, we characterize the notion of ample spectrum contraction in the setting of Branciari distance spaces and we also investigate the existence and uniqueness of fixed points for such family of contractions in the context of complete Branciari distance spaces.

On Hybrid Contractions Via Simulation Function in the Context of Quasi-Metric Spaces
(Yokohama Publ, 2020) Karapinar, Erdal; Fulga, Andreea
In this manuscript, we aim at investigating the existence of a fixed point theorem for the mappings that satisfy hybrid contraction in the setting of quasi-metric spaces. We provide examples to indicate the validity of the observed results.

Remarks on Some Generalizations of ?-Contraction
(Univ Politehnica Bucharest, Sci Bull, 2023) Karapinar, Erdal; Cvetkovic, Marija
The concept of 0-contraction was modified and generalized in several ways during the last decade. Some assumptions concerning the class T are shown to be superfluous in order to obtain a unique fixed point for a ?-type contraction, ?-Suzuki type and, consequently, ?-contraction. Improvement of several previously published results are derived with a modified contractive condition and we have presented an example of possible application. The same approach was used for the F-Suzuki contraction and numerous generalizations are made.

A Gap in the Paper "a Note on Cone Metric Fixed Point Theory and Its Equivalence" [Nonlinear Anal. 72(5), (2010), 2259-2261]
(Gazi Univ, 2011) Abdeljawad, Thabet; Karapinar, Erdal
There is a gap in Theorem 2.2 of the paper of Du [1]. In this paper, we shall state the gap and repair it.

    On the Interpolative (Φ, Ψ)-Type Z-Contraction
(Univ Politehnica Bucharest, Sci Bull, 2021) Khan, Mohammad S.; Singh, Y. Mahendra; Karapinar, Erdal
In this paper, we introduce the notions of interpolative (phi, psi)-type Z-contraction with respect to simulation function and quasi triangular theta-orbital admissible mapping. Using these notions, some fixed point theorems are also established in the framework of metric space. An illustrative example is furnished to show that there exists a quasi triangular theta-orbital admissible mapping which is not a triangular theta-admissible. As an application of our result, we establish an existence of solution for a non-linear Fredholm integral equation.

Existence and Attractivity Results on Semi-Infinite Intervals for Integrodifferential Equations With Non-Instantaneous Impulsions in Banach Spaces
(Ovidius Univ Press, 2024) Bensalem, Abdelhamid; Salim, Abdelkrim; Benchohra, Mouffak; Karapinar, Erdal
In this article, we study the existence of mild solutions of a non-instantaneous integrodi erential equations on unbounded domain via resolvent operators in Banach space. For our proofs, we employ the semigroups theory and Schauder's fixed point theorem. Moreover, we show that solutions of our problem are attractive. Finally, an example is given to validate the theory part.

Existence and Ulam-Hyers Stability of Mild Solutions for Impulsive Integro-Differential Systems Via Resolvent Operators
(Amer inst Mathematical Sciences-aims, 2025) Salim, Abdelkrim; Benchohra, Mouffak; Karapinar, Erdal; Bensalem, Abdelhamid
The aim of this paper is to present existence, Ulam-Hyers-Rassias stability and continuous dependence on initial conditions for the mild solution of impulsive integro-differential systems via resolvent operators. Our analysis is based on fixed point theorem with generalized measures of noncompactness, this approach is combined with the technique that uses convergence to zero matrices in generalized Banach spaces. An example is presented to illustrate the efficiency of the result obtained.
