Article Dissipative Operator and Its Cayley Transform(Tubitak Scientific & Technological Research Council Turkey, 2017) Ugurlu, Ekin; Tas, KenanIn this paper, we investigate the spectral properties of the maximal dissipative extension of the minimal symmetric differential operator generated by a second order differential expression and dissipative and eigenparameter dependent boundary conditions. For this purpose we use the characteristic function of the maximal dissipative operator and inverse operator. This investigation is done by the characteristic function of the Cayley transform of the maximal dissipative operator, which is a completely nonunitary contraction belonging to the class C-0. Using Solomyak's method we also introduce the self-adjoint dilation of the maximal dissipative operator and incoming/outgoing eigenfunctions of the dilation. Moreover, we investigate other properties of the Cayley transform of the maximal dissipative operator.Article Citation - WoS: 1Citation - Scopus: 2Wavelet Transform With Chemometrics Techniques for Quantitative Multiresolution Analysis of a Ternary Mixture Consisting of Paracetamol, Ascorbic Acid and Acetylsalicylic Acid in Effervescent Tablets(Chiminform Data S A, 2006) Baleanu, Dumitru; Dinc, Erdal; Ozdemir, Abdil; Taş, Kenan; Baleanu, Dumitru; Tas, Kenan; MatematikQuantitative multiresolution analysis of paracetamol (PAR), ascorbic acid (AA) and acetylsalicylic acid (ASP) in pharmaceutical samples was carried out by using simultaneous use of discrete wavelet transformation (DWT) and afterward partial least squares (PLS) and classical least squares (CLS) techniques. The desired concentration was obtained using a set of 20 different calibration samples of PAR, AA, and ASP in different concentration ratio. The absorption spectra in the spectral range of 220-305 nm were recorded and their absorption values were measured at 850 points with intervals of Delta lambda = 0. 1 nm. The obtained DWT-CLS and DWT-PLS calibrations were tested by analysing the independent synthetic mixture containing the above subject compounds. The experimental results showed that DWT-CLS and DWT-PLS techniques are suitable for simultaneous determination of PAR, AA and ASP in samples. The obtained results were compared with those in literature.Article Citation - WoS: 12Citation - Scopus: 18Common Fixed Points of Self Maps Satisfying an Integral Type Contractive Condition in Fuzzy Metric Spaces(Univ Osijek, dept Mathematics, 2010) Murthy, Penumarthy Parvateesam; Taş, Kenan; Kumar, Sanjay; Tas, Kenan; MatematikIn this paper, first we prove fixed point theorems for different variant of compatible maps, satisfying a contractive condition of integral type in fuzzy metric spaces, which improve the results of Branciari [2], Rhoades [33], Kumar et al .[23], Subramanyam [35] and results of various authors cited in the literature of "Fixed Point Theory and Applications". Secondly, we introduce the notion of any kind of weakly compatible maps and prove a fixed point theorem for weakly compatible maps along with the notion of any kind of weakly compatible. At the end, we prove a fixed point theorem using variants of R-Weakly commuting mappings in fuzzy metric spaces.Article Citation - WoS: 19Citation - Scopus: 18Best Proximity Point Theorems for Kt-Types Cyclic Orbital Contraction Mappings(House Book Science-casa Cartii Stiinta, 2012) Karapınar, Erdal; Karapinar, Erdal; Petrusel, Gabriela; Taş, Kenan; Tas, Kenan; MatematikIn this manuscript, three new KT-types cyclic orbital contractions are defined and some related best proximity point theorems are given. Also, the notion of KT-type cyclic orbital Meir-Keeler contraction is defined and some fixed point theorems for this class of mappings are proved. The results of this manuscript generalize some theorems, on the same subject, of several authors, such as Kirk-Srinavasan-Veeramani, Eldered-Veeramani and Karpagam-Agrawal.Article On Singular Fifth-Order Boundary Value Problems With Deficiency Indices (5, 5)(Math Soc Serbia-drustvo Matematicara Srbije, 2022) Uğurlu, Ekin; Ugurlu, Ekin; Tas, Kenan; Taş, Kenan; MatematikThis paper is devoted to introduce a way of construction of the well-defined boundary conditions for the solutions of a singular fifth-order equation with deficiency indices (5, 5). Imposing suitable separated and coupled boundary conditions some properties of the eigenvalues of the problems have been investigated.Article Citation - WoS: 2Citation - Scopus: 1Dependence of Eigenvalues of Some Boundary Value Problems(Tsing Hua Univ, dept Mathematics, 2021) Uğurlu, Ekin; Ugurlu, Ekin; Tas, Kenan; Taş, Kenan; MatematikIn this work we deal with a system of two first-order differential equations containing the same eigenvalue parameter. We consider some suitable separated real and complex coupled boundary conditions, and show that the eigenvalues generated by this system are continuous in an eigenvalue branch. Also we introduce the ordinary and Frechet derivatives of these eigenvalues with respect to some elements of the data.Article Citation - Scopus: 1On the Problem of Schoenberg On Rn(Univ Prishtines, 2024) Kushpel, Alexander; Tas, KenanIn 1946 Schoenberg introduced splines on R, which play now one of the central roles in Numerical Analysis, and posed the problem on spline interpolation. The main aim of this article is to establish explicit representations of fundamental splines on Rn and give a positive solution of the problem of Schoenberg on RnCorrection Citation - WoS: 12Common Fixed Point Theorems in Modified Intuitionistic Fuzzy Metric Spaces (Vol 2013, 189321, 2013)(Hindawi Publishing Corporation, 2014) Manro, Saurabh; Kumar, Sanjay; Bhatia, S. S.; Tas, KenanArticle Citation - WoS: 3Citation - Scopus: 3On the Characteristic Functions and Dirchlet-Integrable Solutions of Singular Left-Definite Hamiltonian Systems(Taylor & Francis Ltd, 2024) Ugurlu, Ekin; Bairamov, Elgiz; Tas, KenanIn this work, a singular left-definite Hamiltonian system is considered and the characteristic-matrix theory for this Hamiltonian system is constructed. Using the results of this theory we introduce a lower bound for the number of Dirichlet-integrable solutions. Moreover we share a relation between the kernel of the solution of the nonhomogeneous boundary value problem and the characteristic-matrix.Article Citation - WoS: 16Citation - Scopus: 22Some Fixed Point Results for Tac-Type Contractive Mappings(Hindawi Ltd, 2016) Tas, Kenan; Ansari, Arslan Hojat; Chandok, SumitWe prove some fixed point results for new type of contractive mappings using the notion of cyclic admissible mappings in the framework of metric spaces. Our results extend, generalize, and improve some well-known results from literature. Some examples are given to support our main results.
