    On Admissible Hybrid Geraghty Contractions
(North Univ Baia Mare, 2020) Karapinar, Erdal; Karapınar, Erdal; Petrusel, Adrian; Petrusel, Gabriela; Matematik
In this manuscript, we introduce the notion of admissible hybrid Geraghty contraction and we investigate the existence of fixed points of such mappings in the setting of complete metric spaces. Our results not only extend and generalize several results in the fixed point theory literature, but also unify most of them. We give some corollaries to illustrate the novelty of the main result.

Fixed Point Theorems for Basic Θ-Contraction and Applications
(North Univ Baia Mare, 2024) Cvetkovic, Marija; Karapinar, Erdal; Petrusul, Drian; Petruşel, Adrian
The main aim of this paper is omitting some superfluous assumptions in the definition of the class of functions Theta, by means of which were defined and studied various classes of theta-contractions, and still obtaining the uniqueness of the fixed point for this new type of contractive mappings. Several generalizations of continuous theta-contractions are presented along with their applications to the study of integral equations.

    Frum-Ketkov Type Multivalued Operators
(North Univ Baia Mare, 2021) Petrusel, Adrian; Petrusel, Gabriela; Karapinar, Erdal
Let (M, d) be a metric space, X subset of M be a nonempty closed subset and K subset of M be a nonempty compact subset. By definition, an upper semi-continuous multivalued operator F : X -> P (X) is said to be a strong Frum-Ketkov type operator if there exists alpha is an element of]0, 1[ such that e(d)(F(x), K) <= alpha D-d (x, K), for every x is an element of X, where e(d) is the excess functional generated by d and D-d is the distance from a point to a set. In this paper, we will study the fixed points of strong Frum-Ketkov type multivalued operators.
