E.; Baleanu, DumitruWe develop the theory of fractional hybrid differential equations with linear and nonlinear perturbations involving the Caputo fractional derivative of order 0 << 1. Using some fixed point theorems we prove the existence of mild solutions for two types of hybrid equations. Examples are given to illustrate the obtained results.Article Citation - Scopus: 8Fractional Order Models of Industrial Pneumatic Controllers(Hindawi Publishing Corporation, 2014) Baleanu, D.; Razminia, A.This paper addresses a new approach for modeling of versatile controllers in industrial automation and process control systems such as pneumatic controllers. Some fractional order dynamical models are developed for pressure and pneumatic systems with bellows-nozzle-flapper configuration. In the light of fractional calculus, a fractional order derivative-derivative (FrDD) controller and integral-derivative (FrID) are remodeled. Numerical simulations illustrate the application of the obtained theoretical results in simple examples. © 2014 Abolhassan Razminia and Dumitru Baleanu.Editorial Advances on Integrodifferential Equations and Transforms(Hindawi Publishing Corporation, 2015) Yang, X.-J.; Baleanu, D.; Nieto, J.J.; Hristov, J.; Srivastava, H.M.Article Citation - WoS: 11Citation - Scopus: 79Local Fractional Variational Iteration and Decomposition Methods for Wave Equation on Cantor Sets Within Local Fractional Operators(Hindawi Publishing Corporation, 2014) Tenreiro Machado, J. A.; Cattani, Carlo; Baleanu, Mihaela Cristina; Yang, Xiao-Jun; Baleanu, DumitruWe perform a comparison between the fractional iteration and decomposition methods applied to the wave equation on Cantor set. The operators are taken in the local sense. The results illustrate the significant features of the two methods which are both very effective and straightforward for solving the differential equations with local fractional derivative.Editorial Citation - WoS: 2Citation - Scopus: 3Fractional and Time-Scales Differential Equations(Hindawi Publishing Corporation, 2014) Torres, Delfim F. The goal of this paper is to show that we can investigate more complicated ones by using an appropriate basic theory. In this way, we prove the existence and uniqueness of solution for k-dimensional system of multiterm fractional integrodifferential equations with antiperiodic boundary conditions by applying some standard fixed point results. An illustrative example is also presented.
