Lyapunov-Krasovskii Stability Theorem for Fractional Systems With Delay
    (Editura Acad Romane, 2011) Baleanu, Dumitru; Baleanu, D.; Ranjbar N, A.; Abdeljawad, Thabet; Sadati R, S. J.; Delavari, R. H.; Abdeljawad (Maraaba), T.; Gejji, V.; Matematik
Fractional calculus techniques and methods started to be applied during the last decades in several fields of science and engineering. In this paper we studied the stability of fractional order nonlinear time-delay systems for Caputo's derivative and we extended Lyapunov-Krasovskii theorem for the fractional nonlinear systems.

Computational Analysis for Computer Network Model With Fuzziness
(Tech Science Press, 2023) Baleanu, Dumitru; Dayan, Fazal; Ullah, Sami; Ahmed, Nauman; Rafiq, Muhammad; Raza, Ali; Alfwzan, Wafa F.
A susceptible, exposed, infectious, quarantined and recovered (SEIQR) model with fuzzy parameters is studied in this work. Fuzziness in the model arises due to the different degrees of susceptibility, exposure, infectivity, quarantine and recovery among the computers under consideration due to the different sizes, models, spare parts, the surrounding environments of these PCs and many other factors like the resistance capacity of the individual PC against the virus, etc. Each individual PC has a different degree of infectivity and resistance against infection. In this scenario, the fuzzy model has richer dynamics than its classical counterpart in epidemiology. The reproduction number of the developed model is studied and the equilibrium analysis is performed. Two different techniques are employed to solve the model numerically. Numerical simulations are performed and the obtained results are compared. Positivity and convergence are maintained by the suggested technique which are the main features of the epidemic models.

Stability and Existence Analysis To a Coupled System of Caputo Type Fractional Differential Equations With Erdelyi-Kober Integral Boundary Conditions
(Natural Sciences Publishing, 2020) Baleanu, D.; Subramanian, M.
This article focuses on the Hyers-Ulam type stability, existence and uniqueness of solutions for new types of coupled boundary value problems involving fractional differential equations of Caputo type and augmented with Erdelyi-Kober fractional integral boundary conditions. The nonlinearity relies on the unknown functions. The consequence of the existence is obtained through the Leray-Schauder alternative, whereas the uniqueness of the solution relies on the Banach contraction mapping principle. We analyze the stability of the solutions concerned in the Hyers-Ulam form. As an application, some examples are presented to illustrate the main results. Finally, some variants of the problem are addressed. © 2020 NSP Natural Sciences Publishing Cor.

Numerical Analysis of the Susceptible Exposed Infected Quarantined and Vaccinated (Seiqv) Reaction-Diffusion Epidemic Model
(Frontiers Media Sa, 2020) Fatima, Mehreen; Baleanu, Dumitru; Nisar, Kottakkaran Sooppy; Khan, Ilyas; Rafiq, Muhammad; Ahmad, Muhammad Ozair; Ahmed, Nauman
In this paper, two structure-preserving nonstandard finite difference (NSFD) operator splitting schemes are designed for the solution of reaction diffusion epidemic models. The proposed schemes preserve all the essential properties possessed by the continuous systems. These schemes are applied on a diffusive SEIQV epidemic model with a saturated incidence rate to validate the results. Furthermore, the stability of the continuous system is proved, and the bifurcation value is evaluated. A comparison is also made with the existing operator splitting numerical scheme. Simulations are also performed for numerical experiments.

A Fourth Order Finite Difference Method for Time-Space Fractional Diffusion Equations
(Global Science Press, 2018) Baleanu, Dumitru; Huang, Jianfei; Tang, Yifa; Zhao, Yue; Arshad, Sadia
A finite difference method for a class of time-space fractional diffusion equations is considered. The trapezoidal formula and a fourth-order fractional compact difference scheme are, respectively, used in temporal and spatial discretisations and the method stability is studied. Theoretical estimates of the convergence in the L-2 -norm are shown to be O(tau(2) + h(4)), where tau and h are time and space mesh sizes. Numerical examples confirm theoretical results.
