Common Fixed Points of Self Maps Satisfying an Integral Type Contractive Condition in Fuzzy Metric Spaces
(Univ Osijek, dept Mathematics, 2010) Murthy, Penumarthy Parvateesam; Taş, Kenan; Kumar, Sanjay; Tas, Kenan; Matematik
In this paper, first we prove fixed point theorems for different variant of compatible maps, satisfying a contractive condition of integral type in fuzzy metric spaces, which improve the results of Branciari [2], Rhoades [33], Kumar et al .[23], Subramanyam [35] and results of various authors cited in the literature of "Fixed Point Theory and Applications". Secondly, we introduce the notion of any kind of weakly compatible maps and prove a fixed point theorem for weakly compatible maps along with the notion of any kind of weakly compatible. At the end, we prove a fixed point theorem using variants of R-Weakly commuting mappings in fuzzy metric spaces.

Common Fixed Point, Baire's and Cantor's Theorems in Neutrosophic 2- Metric Spaces
(Amer inst Mathematical Sciences-aims, 2022) Ahmad, Khaleel; Asjad, Muhammad Imran; Ali, Farhan; Jarad, Fahd; Ishtiaq, Umar
These fundamental Theorems of classical analysis, namely Baire's Theorem and Cantor's Intersection Theorem in the context of Neutrosophic 2-metric spaces, are demonstrated in this article. Naschie discussed high energy physics in relation to the Baire's Theorem and the Cantor space in descriptive set theory. We describe, how to demonstrate the validity and uniqueness of the common fixed-point theorem for four mappings in Neutrosophic 2-metric spaces.

On Constrained Minimization, Variational Inequality and Split Feasibility Problem Via New Iteration Scheme in Banach Spaces
(Springer Singapore Pte Ltd, 2022) Uddin, Izhar; Baleanu, Dumitru; Garodia, Chanchal
The motive of this paper is to propose a new iterative algorithm for evaluating a solution of constrained minimization problem, variational inequality and split feasibility problem and common fixed point of two generalized alpha-nonexpansive mappings. We obtain few convergence results in the setting of uniformly convex Banach space. We also present some numerical examples for supporting our main results and to demonstrate the convergence behaviour of the obtained process.

Extended Simulation Function Via Rational Expressions
(Mdpi, 2020) Alqahtani, Badr; Karapinar, Erdal; Roldan Lopez de Hierro, Antonio Francisco; Alsubaie, Rawan
In this paper, we introduce some common fixed point theorems for two distinct self-mappings in the setting of metric spaces by using the notion of a simulation function introduced in 2015. The contractivity conditions have not to be verified for all pairs of points of the space because it is endowed with an antecedent conditions. They are also of rational type because the involved terms in the contractivity upper bound are expressed, in some cases, as quotients.

On a New Fixed Point Theorem With an Application on a Coupled System of Fractional Differential Equations
(Springer, 2020) Abdeljawad, Thabet; Afshari, Hojjat; Jarad, Fahd
In this work, new theorems and results related to fixed point theory are presented. The results obtained are used for the sake of proving the existence and uniqueness of a positive solution of a coupled system of equations that involves fractional derivatives in the Riemann-Liouville settings and is subject to boundary conditions in the form of integrals.

Meir-Keeler Α-Contractive Fixed and Common Fixed Point Theorems
(Springer international Publishing Ag, 2013) Abdeljawad, Thabet
Generalized Meir-Keeler alpha-contractive functions and pairs are introduced and their fixed and common fixed point theorems are obtained. Also, the so-called generalized Meir-Keeler alpha-f-contractive maps commuting with f are introduced and their coincidence and common fixed point theorems are investigated. New sufficient conditions different from those in (Samet et al. in Nonlinear Anal. 75:2154-2165, 2012) are used. An application to the coupled fixed point is established as well. An example is given to show that the alpha-Meir-Keeler generalization is real. AMS Subject Classification: 47H10, 54H25.

Fixed Points for Generalized Weakly Contractive Mappings in Partial Metric Spaces
(Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2011) Abdeljawad, Thabet
Partial metric spaces were introduced by S. G. Matthews in 1994 as a part of the study of denotational semantics of dataflow networks. In this article, we prove fixed point theorems for generalized weakly contractive mappings on partial metric spaces. These theorems generalize many previously obtained results. An example is given to show that our generalization from metric spaces to partial metric spaces is real. (C) 2011 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Existence and Uniqueness of a Common Fixed Point on Partial Metric Spaces
    (Pergamon-elsevier Science Ltd, 2011) Abdeljawad, T.; Karapinar, E.; Tas, K.; Karapnar, E.
In this work, a general form of the weak phi-contraction is considered on partial metric spaces, to get a common fixed point. It is shown that self-mappings S, T on a complete partial metric space X have a common fixed point if it is a generalized weak phi-contraction. (C) 2011 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
