Best Proximity Point Theorems for Kt-Types Cyclic Orbital Contraction Mappings
(House Book Science-casa Cartii Stiinta, 2012) Karapınar, Erdal; Karapinar, Erdal; Petrusel, Gabriela; Taş, Kenan; Tas, Kenan; Matematik
In this manuscript, three new KT-types cyclic orbital contractions are defined and some related best proximity point theorems are given. Also, the notion of KT-type cyclic orbital Meir-Keeler contraction is defined and some fixed point theorems for this class of mappings are proved. The results of this manuscript generalize some theorems, on the same subject, of several authors, such as Kirk-Srinavasan-Veeramani, Eldered-Veeramani and Karpagam-Agrawal.

Coupled Fixed Points in Complex Partial Metric Spaces
(int Scientific Research Publications, 2022) Khan, M. S.; Singh, Y. Mahendra; Tas, Kenan; Gunaseelan, M.
In this paper, we obtain coupled fixed point theorems in complex partial metric spaces under the different contractive conditions. Examples are provided to support our results.

Fractional Differential Equation With a Complex Potential
(Univ Nis, Fac Sci Math, 2020) Ugurlu, Ekin; Tas, Kenan; Baleanu, Dumitru
In this manuscript, we discuss the square-integrable property of a fractional differential equation having a complex-valued potential function and we show that at least one of the linearly independent solutions of the fractional differential equation must be squarely integrable with respect to some function containing the imaginary parts of the spectral parameter and the potential function.

Fixed Point Theorem on Partial Metric Spaces Involving Rational Expressions
(Univ Miskolc inst Math, 2013) Tas, Kenan; Karapinar, Erdal; Shatanawi, Wasfi
We establish a fixed point theorem involving a rational expression in a complete partial metric space. Our result generalizes a well-known result in (usual) metric spaces. Also, we introduce an example to illustrate the usability of our result.

A New Method for Dissipative Dynamic Operator With Transmission Conditions
(Springer Basel Ag, 2018) Ugurlu, Ekin; Tas, Kenan
In this paper, we investigate the spectral properties of a boundary value transmission problem generated by a dynamic equation on the union of two time scales. For such an analysis we assign a suitable dynamic operator which is in limit-circle case at infinity. We also show that this operator is a simple maximal dissipative operator. Constructing the inverse operator we obtain some information about the spectrum of the dissipative operator. Moreover, using the Cayley transform of the dissipative operator we pass to the contractive operator which is of the class With the aid of the minimal function we obtain more information on the dissipative operator. Finally, we investigate other properties of the contraction such that multiplicity of the contraction, unitary colligation with basic operator and CMV matrix representation associated with the contraction.

Invariant Approximation Results Via Common Fixed Point Theorems for Generalized Weak Contraction Maps
(Hindawi Ltd, 2014) Kumar, Anil; Tas, Kenan; Rathee, Savita
A common fixed point theorem for generalized (phi,phi,L)(f,g)-weak contraction in a metric space is established. As an application, some common fixed point results in normed linear spaces are obtained. We also study some results on best approximation via common fixed point theorems. Our result improves some results from the existing literature. Some illustrative examples to highlight the realized improvements are also furnished.

On Sumudu Transform Method in Discrete Fractional Calculus
(Hindawi Ltd, 2012) Jarad, Fahd; Tas, Kenan
In this paper, starting from the definition of the Sumudu transform on a general time scale, we define the generalized discrete Sumudu transform and present some of its basic properties. We obtain the discrete Sumudu transform of Taylor monomials, fractional sums, and fractional differences. We apply this transform to solve some fractional difference initial value problems.

Common Fixed Point Theorems in Cone Banach Spaces
(Hacettepe Univ, Fac Sci, 2011) Abdeljawad, Thabet; Tas, Kenan; Karapınar, Erdal
Recently, E. Karapınar (Fixed Point Theorems in Cone Banach Spaces, Fixed Point Theory Applications, Article ID 609281, 9 pages, 2009) presented some fixed point theorems for self-mappings satisfying certain contraction principles on a cone Banach space. Here we will give some generalizations of this theorem.

A Unique Common Triple Fixed Point Theorem for Hybrid Pair of Maps
    (Hindawi Publishing Corp, 2012) Kishore, G. N. V.; Tas, Kenan; Rao, K. P. R.
We obtain a unique common triple fixed point theorem for hybrid pair of mappings in metric spaces. Our result extends the recent results of B. Samet and C. Vetro (2011). We also introduced a suitable example supporting our result.

New Common Fixed Point Theorems of Greğus Type for R-Weakly Commuting Mappings in 2-Metric Spaces
(Hacettepe Univ, FAC Sci, 2009) Tas, Kenan; Murthy, P.p.
In this paper we extend and generalize a theorem of M.R. Singh, L. S. Singh and P.P. Murthy (Common fixed points of set valued mappings, Int. J. Math. Sci., 25 (6), 411–415, 2001) in a 2-metric space with a Gregu˘s type condition, and give some common fixed point theorems of set-valued maps in 2-metric spaces.
