dc.description.abstractThis study aims to discuss the problem of the reason of state through siyasatnamas. The study consists of two sections. The first section focuses on the nature and historical development of the concept of the reason of state. The second section examines the problem of the reason of state in siyasatnamas through an interpretive-textual method. The major argument of the study is that traces of the term reason of state can be found in siyasatnamas.en_US
