Abstract
The scattering of plane electromagnetic waves by a perfect electromagnetic conductor wedge is investigated. The diffraction coefficient of the wedge is obtained by considering the structure of the scattered waves by a whole perfect electromagnetic conductor plane and the diffraction coefficients of the soft and hard wedges. The behavior of the total, total geometric optics and uniform diffracted waves are analyzed numerically.
