Article On the Determination of the Quadratic Pencil of the Sturm-Liouville Operator With an Impulse(Pleiades Publishing Ltd, 2025) Khalili, Y.; Baleanu, D.In this work, an inverse problem for the quadratic pencil of the Sturm-Liouville operator with an impulse in the finite interval is considered. It is shown that some information on eigenfunctions at some internal point \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$b\in\left(\frac{1}{2},1\right)$$\end{document} and parts of two spectra uniquely determine the potential functions and all parameters in the boundary conditions. Moreover we prove that the potential functions on the whole interval and the parameters in the boundary conditions can be established from one spectrum and the potentials prescribed on \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$\left(\frac{1}{2},1\right)$$\end{document}.Article Explicit Commutativity and Stability Theories for Second-Order Heun's LTVSs(World Scientific Publ Co Pte Ltd, 2025) Ibrahim, Salisu; Baleanu, DumitruThis paper derived and proved the simplex explicit commutativity theories and conditions for second-order linear time-varying systems (LTVSs) with both zero and nonzero initial conditions (ICs). We consider Heun's LTVS as a case study to verify the explicit commutative results, which were supported by simulation. Furthermore, we investigate the sensitivity of Heun's LTVS, the robustness of Heun's LTVS, the stability of Heun's LTVS, the effects due to disturbance on Heun's LTVS and the problem associated with commutativity of Heun's LTVS. These findings will tackle many problems related to the commutativity theory, the stability of LTVS, design and behavior of control systems, which have made an essential contribution and play a vital role in science and engineering. By considering a sinusoid of amplitude 5, bias -3 and frequency 7, with parameters c2,c1,c0 and an arbitrary choosing initial time (IT) t0 to be and also the initial states yA(0),yB(0),yA '(0),yB '(0), several quantitative results obtained by simulation show that the Heun's LTVSs AB and BA give the same output response, AB and BA are commutative under certain conditions and proved to be unstable numerically. Moreover, the quantitative results proved that the Heun's LTVSs AB and BA are very sensitive toward changes in ICs and parameters. Disturbance between the connections also affects the systems AB and BA, these give different responses as a result of tampering with the conditions, hence commutativity is not satisfied. Several examples have been given to support our fact explicitly and numerically. However, the explicit commutativity and stability for Heun's LTVS have not been in the literature yet, and this paper presents it for the first time. The results are well verified by simulation and treated with Wolfram Mathematica 11.Article Citation - WoS: 3Citation - Scopus: 5Exact Analytical Solutions for Nonlinear Systems of Conformable Partial Differential Equations Via an Analytical Approach(Univ Politehnica Bucharest, Sci Bull, 2022) Thabet, Hayman; Baleanu, Dumitru; Kendre, Subhash; Baleanu, Dumitru; Peters, James; MatematikMany numerical and analytical methods have been developed for solving Partial Differential Equations (PDEs) and conformable PDEs, most of which provide approximate solutions. Exact solutions, however, are vitally important in the proper understanding of the qualitative features of the concerned phenomena and processes. This paper introduces an effective analytical approach for solving nonlinear systems of conformable space-time PDEs. Moreover, the convergence theorem and error analysis of the proposed method are also shown. An essential benefit of this paper is that it yields exact analytical solutions for some nonlinear dynamical systems of conformable space-time PDEs. The Graphical representations of solutions are shown to confirm the accuracy and efficiency of the suggested method.Article Citation - WoS: 11Citation - Scopus: 11Best Proximity Results on Condensing Operators Via Measure of Noncompactness With Application To Integral Equations(Chiang Mai Univ, Fac Science, 2020) Gabeleh, Moosa; Karapınar, Erdal; Asadi, Mehdi; Karapinar, Erdal; MatematikWe prove the best proximity point results for condensing operators on C-class of functions, by using a concept of measure of noncompactness. The results are applied to show the existence of a solution for certain integral equations. We express also an illsutrative examples to indicate the validity of the observed results.Article Design of a Novel Converter Between Li-Ion Battery and Supercapacitor To Feed Synthetic Aperture Radar Loads for Satellite Applications(int Journal Renewable Energy Research, 2020) Tulay, Gencer; İskender, İres; Iskender, Ires; Elektrik-Elektronik MühendisliğiFor satellite applications the active duty life of a satellite depends mainly on the battery lifespan. The charging or discharging current has an important role in useful life of batteries. For this purpose, the converters used in power supplies including batteries should be accurately designed such that the large current of batteries can be prevented. The power converter proposed in this paper is used to transfer energy from battery to supercapacitor when SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) load is active. Accordingly, the lifespan of battery and hence the lifespan of satellite will be extended. Parallel to preventing the large discharging current of batteries the proposed converter has another important property such that it is able to vary the input voltage without having any stability problems. The operating performance of the converter that is composed of Weinberg and Buck converters is analyzed using PSpice software and the results of simulations are verified through experiments. The results show that how well the converter operates satisfying the conditions required for satellite applications.Article Citation - WoS: 1Citation - Scopus: 1Solving Existence Problems Via F-Contraction in Modified B-Metric Spaces(Turkic World Mathematical Soc, 2022) Karapinar, E.; Karapınar, Erdal; Sedghi, S.; Shobe, N.; MatematikIn this paper, we introduce a new abstract structure, expanded b-metric, as an natural extension of b-metric. We consider a boundary value problem as an application of our results.Article Citation - Scopus: 2A Compact Size Multiband Printed Monopole Antenna With Triple Sense Circular Polarization for Wireless Applications(Natl inst Optoelectronics, 2020) Al-Mihrab, M.; Salim, A.; Al-Saedi, H.; Ali, J.A penta-band printed monopole antenna based on a hexagonal open loop shape is presented in this paper. The proposed antenna demonstrated a variety in the polarization. Antenna is loaded with some parts and two stair-shaped slits is created in the partial ground plane for enhancing the multiband behavior. A circularly polarized (CP) waves are generated at a three bands with impedance bandwidths (IBWs) of 10.62%, 33.65% and 8.61% centered at 1.60, 5.20 and 6.50 GHz and 3-dB axial ratio bandwidths (ARBWs) of 9.10%, 7.58%, and 4.41% respectively. While a linearly polarized (LP) waves at the other two bands over ranges (2.51-2.64 GHz) and (3.10-3.31 GHz). Besides, the proposed antenna showed a different sense of circular polarization; right hand, left hand, and right hand. The antenna is simulated and fabricated on an FR-4 (glass epoxy) substrate with relative permittivity of 4.6, thickness of 1.6 mm and a loss tangent of 0.02. The properties of multiband and circular polarization, makes the proposed antenna candidates for many modern wireless applications.Article Citation - WoS: 3Citation - Scopus: 6Grid Connected Three-Phase Boost-Inverter for Solar Pv Systems(int Journal Renewable Energy Research, 2021) Demirkutlu, Eyyup; İskender, İres; Iskender, Ires; Elektrik-Elektronik MühendisliğiThis paper presents a transformerless grid-connected three-phase boost-type inverter derived from the Swiss Rectifier (SR) and can be used in solar systems. The proposed boost-inverter retains the great advantages of the Swiss rectifier. Since the number of switches that are instantly switched with high frequency is only two, the switching losses are very low, therefore the proposed boost-inverter is very advantageous in terms of efficiency. Without having large transformer and electrolytic bus capacitors, the boost-inverter has an advantage in terms of size and weight. The switching states of the topology are given in detail. The operation principle of the boost-inverter is described with the help of equivalent circuits. A cascaded control method including current and voltage loops is designed. Simulation results are presented to validate the operation of the boost-inverter and show quality performance of the designed control approach.Article Evaluation of Robust Evacuation Strategies for Resilient Urban Infrastructure Through Microscopic Traffic Simulation(Univ Studi Trieste, Ist Studio Trasporti integrazione Econ Europea-Istiee, 2025) Kabarcık, Ahmet; Qadri, Syed Shah Sultan Mohiuddin; Qadri, Shah Sultan Mohiuddin; Athar, Ambreen Ilyas; Albdairi, Mustafa; Kabarcik, Ahmet; Endüstri MühendisliğiNatural disasters are a global threat, highlighting the urgent need for effective disaster management systems worldwide. Many countries, both developed and developing, are not adequately prepared, emphasizing the importance of governmental action. Key to disaster management is the creation of specialized disaster management units that develop and implement rapid response plans for potential risks. A crucial aspect of disaster management is evacuation-the process of moving vulnerable populations to safer areas. However, evacuations face challenges such as timely alert issuance, traffic congestion, resident reluctance to evacuate, and potential damage to transportation infrastructure. These challenges can be mitigated through comprehensive evacuation plans that ensure smooth relocation to shelters. This paper addresses these issues by developing and evaluating traffic routing conditions in an evacuation study area using the microscopic simulator SUMO. It examines two algorithms, Dijkstra and A-star (A*), which optimize vehicle routes under different network conditions. By focusing on criteria such as Minimum Travel Time and Maximum Number of Evacuations (clearance time), the research aims to improve disaster response and resilience. The objective is to enhance evacuation procedures, thereby strengthening disaster management and ensuring the safety of affected populations. Results show that the A* algorithm outperforms Dijkstra, reducing travel times by up to 18% and network clearance times by up to 6.8% under optimal conditions. The Manhattan-based network design further enhances evacuation efficiency, reducing average waiting time by up to 35% compared to the actual map.
