Master Thesis Radar cross section of a conducting flat plate by the method of modified theory of physical optics(2010) Çınar, Ayşe TilaIn this thesis, reflected scattered fields from a conducting rectangular flat plate, and its edges and corners are observed, calculated and analyzed by using the Method of Modified Theory of Physical Optics. In the calculations, two methods, named “Stationary Phase Point Method” and “Edge Point Method”, are used to solve scattering integrals manually. Numerical results of the calculations are evaluated by plotting them in the MATLAB tool.
