Article Industry 4.0 Readiness of Smes: Active Participants or Silent Audience of the Revolution(Sosyoekonomi Soc, 2023) Sener, Irge; Karapolatgil, Ahmet AnilNowadays, the technological consequences of the Fourth Industrial Revolution affect all organisations. However, the current reactions of SMEs have yet to be explored. For this reason, this study focused on the actual status of SMEs and aimed to determine their readiness and awareness of Industry 4.0 technologies. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 44 SME managers operating in Ankara, constituting the study sample. Research findings were examined within the scope of 3 main themes determined by content analysis. Bu nedenle, bu çalışmada KOBİ’lerin güncel konumlarına odaklanılmış ve Endüstri 4.0 teknolojileri karşısındaki hazırlıklarının ve farkındalıklarının tespiti amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini oluşturan Ankara’da faaliyet gösteren 44 KOBİ yöneticisi ile yarı yapılandırılmış mülakatlar gerçekleştirilmiş olup, içerik analizi ile 3 ana tema belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın bulguları belirlenen ana temalar kapsamında incelenmiştir. With this study, most salient and other groups of stakeholders were identified based on a content analysis of sustainability reports of 78 large-scale companies. Although many researches are undertaken in developed countries based on sustainability reports that are popular tools for information disclosure for the companies, similar research in developing countries is still at infancy. Among these predictors, mobbing behaviour can be disruptive in the workplace since workplace deviance is a matter which most organizations wrestle today. Organizational commitment is an important variant for employees to achieve organizational success whereas ethical climate is the picture of an organization which demonstrates its' moral philosophy. This study examines the main effects of ethical climate, mobbing, and organizational commitment in predicting turnover intention among the sample of 166 employees, working in a municipality, particularly in Istanbul province, Turkey. The findings indicate that mobbing affect turnover intention positively, while ethical climate has no effect in estimating turnover intention. Study results also suggest that commitment (continuance and affective) is also found to be negatively related to turnover intention of employees. In addition, for Generation-X members, continuance commitment and for Generation-Y members, affective commitment has a significant effect on turnover intention. With this study, strategic groups among the 50 global football club brands, based on these revenue is identified and the common main strategies of the groups are analyzed. Although many research is undertaken about strategic groups in various industries, similar research in sports industry is still at infancy. The findings indicate three different strategic groups, with member clubs of each group following similar strategies. In addition, brand value forms mobility barriers among strategic groups. One of the most noteworthy dimensions related with board composition is board gender diversity. Although, many research is undertaken in developed countries related with board gender diversity, related research is still at infancy in developing and emerging market economies. This study aims to contribute to the literature by comparison of important board composition dimensions, that are board gender diversity, presence of independent directors and board size between Turkey and Nigeria. The findings indicate no statistically significant difference between the two countries in terms of board gender diversity and underrepresentation of female directors. According to the research findings, the underrepresentation of female directors is more obvious in Turkey. On the other hand, there exists statistically significant difference in terms of board size and presence of independent board members among the two countries. (C) 2014 The Authors. This paper examines the relationship between organizational justice, ethical climate and perceived work Related Stress. According to the findings from 915 employees, there exists a significant negative relationship between distributional and procedural justice and work related stress. In addition, ethical climate also has a negative effect on work related stress. With this study, it can be inferred that development of ethical climate and organizational justice within the organizations help to decrease the work related stress of employees. The findings of the study indicate a significant positive effect of both organizational silence and mobbing on employees' turnover intention, besides according to the results there exist a positive significant effect of organizational silence on mobbing. In addition, the findings demonstrate a partial mediation effect of mobbing on organizational silence and turnover intention relationship. Since organizational silence and mobbing is a relatively new phenomenon for Turkish organizations, the results of this study contribute to the literature by creating awareness about the topic not only for scholars but also for the executives as well.
