Article Industry 4.0 Readiness of SMEs: Active Participants or Silent Audience of the Revolution?(Sosyoekonomi Soc, 2023) Karapolatgil, Ahmet Anıl; Sener, IrgeGünümüzde Dördüncü Sanayi Devriminin teknolojik sonuçları tüm örgütleri etkilemektedir. Fakat KOBİ’lerin güncel tepkileri nadiren araştırılmıştır. Bu nedenle, bu çalışmada KOBİ’lerin güncel konumlarına odaklanılmış ve Endüstri 4.0 teknolojileri karşısındaki hazırlıklarının ve farkındalıklarının tespiti amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini oluşturan Ankara’da faaliyet gösteren 44 KOBİ yöneticisi ile yarı yapılandırılmış mülakatlar gerçekleştirilmiş olup, içerik analizi ile 3 ana tema belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın bulguları belirlenen ana temalar kapsamında incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda, örneklemde yer alan KOBİ’lerin Endüstri 4.0 için düşük farkındalığa sahip oldukları ve hazırlıklarının yetersiz olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.Conference Object Sustainability Reports Disclosures: Who are the Most Salient Stakeholders?(Elsevier Science bv, 2016) Şener, İrge; Varoğlu, Abdulkadir; Karapolatgil, Ahmet AnılDue to the importance of stakeholders for the sustainability of the companies, there exists a research interest to identify the important stakeholders. With this study, most salient and other groups of stakeholders were identified based on a content analysis of sustainability reports of 78 large-scale companies. Although many researches are undertaken in developed countries based on sustainability reports that are popular tools for information disclosure for the companies, similar research in developing countries is still at infancy. The findings of the study indicate shareholders and government to be the most salient stakeholders regardless of industry difference.Article Using User-Centered Design Approach In Course Design(Elsevier Science BV, 2010) Kahraman, Z. This paper is based on a case study that attempts to adapt this approach into course design in order to increase the effectiveness of teaching, and the learnability and success of university students. The paper discusses the phases of the designing process including analysis of student needs, limitations and expectancies in the teaching process, designing teaching activities, and assessment of students about courses designed with respect to user-centered design approach (C) 2010 Elsevier Ltd.
