Türk muhafazakarlığında medeniyet algısı: Necip Fazıl Kısakürek örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Türk muhafazakar söyleminde medeniyet algısının anlamlandırılması ve medeniyetin sahip olduğu kritik konumun Necip Fazıl Kısakürek figürü üzerinden değerlendirilmesini içermektedir. Çalışma kapsamında Osmanlı son döneminde başlayan modernizasyon sürecinin Cumhuriyete uzanan seyrinde, muhafazakar düşünce stiline etkileri incelenmiştir. Muhafazakarlığın mihenk taşlarından olan medeniyet nosyonunun süreç içinde farklı siyasal mekanizmalar karşısında buhrana sürüklenen yapısı, çalışma boyunca Kısakürek fikriyatına referansla tartışılmıştır. Çalışma medeniyet söyleminin Türk muhafazakarlığı için ne anlama geldiği, Türk siyasal geleneğinde muhafazakar düşüncenin medeniyet algısına nasıl hizmet ettiği ve Necip Fazıl Kısakürek figürünün bu mevzuda neden ve nasıl kritik bir referans olduğu gibi soruları yanıtlamaya çalışmıştır.

This study covers the aim of understanding the civilization concept in Turkish conservatism and the interpretation of the critical place of this concept with references to Necip Fazıl Kısakürek. Within the study, the effects of the modernization process according to the conservatist ideaology, starting in the last period of Ottoman Empire and reaching to the Rebuplician period, have been analyzed. A touchstone for conservatist ideology, civilization and its problematical nature due to some different political mechanisms has been argued through references to Kısakürek's world of thought. This study tries to bring an answer to such questions below; What does civilization mean in the understanding of conservatism?, How does the conservatist ideology serve for the concept of civilization in Turkish politics?, How Necip Fazıl Kısakürek has become an important figure for this issue?
