Abstract
LoRa ve LoRaWAN nesnelerin interneti uygulamaları için özel olarak üretilmiş bir teknolojidir. Düşük güç tüketimi ve uzun menzili ile dünya çapında birçok alanda kullanılmakta olara LoRa, tarımda da oldukça fazla tercih edilmektedir. Bu çalışmada LoRa tabanlı bir akıllı tarım sulama sistemi geliştirilmiş, performansı oldukça engebeli ve farklı amaçlar için kullanılan tarım arazilerinde derinlemesine analiz edilmiştir. Bu analiz yapılırken özellikle güç tüketimi, veri kaybı ve sinyal gücü gibi konulara yoğunlaşılmıştır. LoRa modüllerinin haberleşmesini sağlamak amacıyla her türlü yazılımsal ve donanımsal altyapı için Arduino platformu kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin görselleştirilmesi için Matlab altyapısını kullanan ThingSpeak platformu tercih edilmiştir. Bu detaylı çalışmanın gelecekte özellikle tarım alanında yapılacak olan araştırmalara ve projelere önemli ölçüde ışık tutacağı düşünülmektedir.
LoRa and LoRaWAN are technologies specifically designed for IoT applications. LoRa is used in many areas worldwide with its low power consumption and long range, and is also highly preferred in agriculture. In this study, a LoRa-based smart agricultural irrigation system was developed, and its performance was analyzed in depth in agricultural lands that are quite rugged and used for different purposes. During this analysis, the focus was on issues such as power consumption, data loss and signal strength. The Arduino platform was used for all kinds of software and hardware infrastructure to ensure communication between LoRa modules. The ThingSpeak platform, which uses the Matlab infrastructure, was preferred for the visualization of the obtained data. It is thought that this detailed study will shed significant light on future research and projects, especially in the field of agriculture.
