Design and manage website for College of Administration and Economics Diyala University

Abstract

With the fast development of information technology, websites have come to represent the main entrance for access to most institutions through fast communications and responses to various requests. Electronic communication achieved an actual scale to measure the efficiency of an institute especially with regard to the exchange of information and electronic services. In this study, the main purpose is to design and manage the new website of the College of Administration and Economics – Diyala University by using ASP.Net 2010 and processing the existing problems on the old website of the college, such as the traditional design and management of the website contents as well as website usability and quality of services and activities that are available to students and staff. The website has been designed to diagnose and address the problems mentioned above. The tools are based on designing and managing the website by using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, and ASP.Net, which includes the C# language. Moreover, the Microsoft Access 2010 was also used to build the database of some pages. Therefore, the objective of this work, which is to develop the website, has been accomplished properly. Finally, the administrator is provided with all necessary tools to manage website contents easily in addition to improvements in the usability of the website through navigation and accessing information easily and more flexibly.Bilgi teknolojisinin hızlı gelişimi ile, web-siteleri hızlı iletişim ve çeşitli taleplere hızlı cevap verebilme yolu ile çoğu kurumlara ulaşmanın ana yolunu temsil etmektedir.Elektronik iletişim, bilgi ve elektronik hizmetlerin takası ile ilgili olarak özellikle bir kurumun verimliliğini ölçmek için fiili bir ölçüm elde etmiştir. Bu çalışmadaki ana amaç, ASP Net 2010 programı kullanarak ve öğrenci ve çalışanın kullandığı hizmetlerin ve faaliyetlerin kalitesi ve web-sitesinin kullanılabilirliğinin yanı sıra, web sitesinin içeriklerinin yönetimi ve geleneksel tasarımı gibi okulun eski web-sitesinde mevcut olan problemlerinin üzerinde çalışarak Diyala ÜniversitesiYönetim ve Ekonomi fakültesinin yeni web sitesini yönetmek ve tasarlamaktır. Websitesi yukarıda belirtilen problemleri belirlemek ve teşhis etmek için tasarlanmıştır. Bu araçlar, C# dilini içeren Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, ASP.Net kullanarak web- vii sitesini tasarlamaya ve yönetmeye dayanmaktadır. Ayrıca, Microsoft Access 2010 bazı sayfaların veri tabanlarını yaratmak için kullanılmıştır. Bu sebepten dolayı, websitesini geliştirmek amacı olan bu çalışma uygun bir şekilde tamamlanmıştır. Sonuç olarak, bilgiye daha kolay ve daha esnek ulaşma ve arama yoluyla web-sitesinin kullanabilirliğindeki gelişmelere ek olarak web-sitesinin içeriklerinin yönetilebilmesi için yöneticiye tüm gerekli araçlar verilmiştir.
