Ankara'daki endüstri mirasının korunmuşluk durumu

Abstract

Cumhuriyet rejimi ile gündeme gelen ekonomik kalkınma planları neticesinde, Ankara'nın üstlendiği Başkent pozisyonundan kaynaklı, ulusun tamamına örnek olacak ve yol gösterecek bir endüstrileşme süreci geçirmesi hedeflenmiştir. Endüstrinin ekonomik kalkınma sürecinde önemli bir rol oynadığını göstermek, sanayi yapıları ile örnek olmak için Başkentte önemli adımlar atılmıştır. Ülkece kalkınmaya; genel olarak tarım, ulaşım, altyapı ve sanayileşme kavramlarının yardımı ile varılacağının düşünüldüğü bu süreçte yapılan birçok endüstri yapısı ve tesisi dönemin fiziksel, sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik yapısını yansıtması sebebiyle korunması gerekli kültür mirası olarak ele alınmalıdır. Sanayi topluluklarının hafızasında endüstriyel gelişmelerin canlı kanıtı olarak yer edinen endüstri yapıları toplumların sanayi gelişimlerinin izlerini yani o dönemin sosyal ve kültür unsurlarını barındırdığı için bu yapıların varlığının tehdit altında olması bu unsurların sürekliliğin de tehdit altında olması anlamına gelmektedir. Bu çalışmada Ankara'da endüstri mirası kapsamında incelenebilecek yapıların ne derece korunabildiği ya da korunamadığı ortaya koyulmak istenmiştir.

Owing to its position as the capital city of the country, and to be an example to the rest of the country, Ankara was the goal of an industrialization process that came to limelight with the Republic Regime. To show that industrialization has a key role in economical development, and to exemplify this to the rest of the country, big advances towards industrialization has been conducted. The authority at the time believed that the development of the whole country was possible via agriculture, transportation, infrastructure. During this effort, a multitude of industrial facilities were built. As these facilities demonstrate the physical, social, cultural, and economical structure of the time, they should be designated as cultural heritage they should be preserved. Because these buildings are living evidence of industrial development of communities and has marks of contemporary social and cultural elements of the time, endangerment of them, represents a threat to the continuity of culture. In this thesis, we present whether these industrial heritage buildings have been preserved or not.
