Abstract
Bu tez çalışmasında, ana hedef, Polidimetilsiloksan (PDMS) malzemesinin çeşitli üretim koşulları altındaki mekanik davranışını hesaba katan bir malzeme modeli geliştirmektir. PDMS, benzersiz özellikleri nedeniyle mikro üretim ve robotik alanlarında yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır, ancak PDMS malzemesinin mekanik özelliklerini nlamak, uygulama alanlarının optimize edilmesi için önemlidir. Bu tez çalışması karışım oranı, kürleme süresi ve sıcaklığın PDMS'in mekanik özellikleri üzerindeki etkilerini incelemektedir. Mekanik davranışı anlamak amacıyla, farklı koşullarda hazırlanmış PDMS örnekleri üzerinde çekme testleri yapılacaktır.
The objective of this thesis will be to develop a material model for Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) that accounts for its mechanical behavior under various fabrication conditions. Due to the unique properties of PDMS, this material is widely used in microfabrication and in soft robotics; however, the mechanical response needs to be understood to optimize its use. This research focuses on the mechanical properties dependent on mixing ratio, curing time, and temperature. Mechanical behaviour will be understood by conducting tensile tests on prepared PDMS samples in different conditions
