Master Thesis Orthogonality of sturm-liouville problems and some asymptotic behaviours(2015) Aljumaili, AhmedIn this thesis, we discussed some important aspects of Sturm-Liouville theory such as orthogonality, Fourier series and asymptotic formulas for eigenvalues and eigenfunctions. After giving an introduction about the history of Sturm-Liouville Theory. We gave the way to convert any problem into regular Sturm-Liouville problem by finding suitable weight function. We included a method of finding asymptotic formulas for eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of Sturm-Liouville Problems. We also obtain an important formula about the solutions of a specific SLproblem and obtain formulas of eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of this problem.Master Thesis Discrete mittag–leffler functions in fractional calculus(2011) Benli, BetülA speci c type of Caputo q{fractional di erential equations has been solved. NoSQL are intending to override the cons of RDBMS, such as fixed schemas, JOIN operations and handling the scalability problems. With the appearance of Big Data, there was clearly a need for more flexible databases. In this study, a theoretical study of investigating in two types of databases MySQL one of the traditional relational databases, and Neo4j one of the graph databases. First of all, choosing these two types of the databases according to their features, both of them depending on the replication and sharding in their systems. Secondly, a brief background with literature review will introduce the opinions for some researchers with some concepts. Thirdly, mentioning relational database and NoSQL in generally and MySQL and Neo4j in specifically, then try to make a comparison between the features for both of them. Moreover, all the websites, the researches, and the journals are the resources for this study. In addition, this study is like mentioned before is a theoretical study so there was no implementation work. However, the comparison presented the result in this study. All in all, we try to provide an understanding for MySQL and Neo4j, that leads us to find both of MySQL and Neo4j have their features, pros and cons that differ from each other.Master Thesis The role of information systems in application of human resources management system in presidency of Diyala University(2015) Alazzawi, Ahmed Adnan MohammedHuman Resources Management Systems (HRMS) plays an important role for any organisation to effectively manage its human resources. As a result of rapid development in such services, the necessity of fault tolerance in the cloud is a major concern with reliability, availability and dependability is more critical to this new service type. This thesis investigates techniques and means of tolerating cloud services as well as cloud customers’ systems/enterprises execution over the cloud safe from failures. As one of this findings shows, failures in cloud enabled services should be expected to occur hence they should be handled. The essential features of implementing fault tolerance strategies guarantee the business continuity, avoid financial lost, recovering systems from failures, and provide disaster recovery as well. The specific focus is to explore scenarios of avoiding/recovering from failures through redundancy, checkpoint and replication. Commercial IaaS providers such as Amazon’s AWS and Google’s GCE are taken as examples as they tolerate their infrastructure from failures; in this way a robust architecture with fault tolerance property could be proposed for a system/enterprise. Hence, a general conceptual model with fault tolerance considerations has been proposed. With this basis, addressing potential failures in detail, implementing fault tolerance techniques, organizing teamwork to setup business policies are left for future work. Such limitations can be addressed through online questionnaires to collect information for case studies.Master Thesis Liver volume computation from computed tomography (CT) images(2016) Salihi, Sara OsamSon zamanlarda, bilgisayarlı tomografi görüntüleri karaciğer hastalığı teşhis yanı sıra, onlar tedavi hacmini ölçmek ve karaciğer taşınmaya kullanılır için açıkça kullanılmıştır. Hence, both quality and reliability of cloud computing services become essential topics as Quality of Service (QoS) requirements play major roles in service/provider selection. However, there is a significant concern for the QoS attributes considered in a service level agreement (SLA) while selecting service provider. Clarifying QoS attributes and related metrics for software as a service (SaaS) in SLAs are aimed in this work as the research question. It is partially observed that SaaS concerns more quality attributes than other services; also, availability of services is more considered in all SLAs. In this work, possible QoS attributes and metrics to be considered in SLAs for SaaS are presented. Main benefit of this work is defended as the QoS attributes are to be given major importance in the negotiation and evaluations of SLAs of cloud service. As major limitations, law/regulations, government/company policies and budgeting are not discussed. All these were led to answer the research questions by present 12 quality attributes with related metrics for SaaS.Master Thesis A robust key management scheme for hierarchical wireless sensor networks(2015) Al-Salihi, Aso Ahmed MajeedWireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are used in many applications such as monitoring, target tracking and military applications, etc. A network is comprised of a large number of small, cheap, computational, limited energy devices which are called sensor nodes. These nodes are randomly deployed in open area to gather information. They communicate with each other via wireless media which are, however, vulnerable to being attacked by malicious nodes that may impersonate legitimate nodes. This makes the whole network liable to being hacked. Thus, security for WSNs is needed to keep any gathered data safe and to protect the communication links between sensor nodes. Key management plays a critical role in achieving security in a WSN. In this thesis, a robust key management scheme for hierarchical WSNs depends on, and exploits, the advantage of symmetric and asymmetric key cryptography. The proposed scheme uses the SHA-1 in HMAC not unlike a symmetric key for cluster formation and encryption of the private key via ECC, such as asymmetric key cryptography. Ultimately, the proposed scheme should be used to solve all these problems mentioned above.Master Thesis Traveling salesman problem: herustics and empirical evaluation(2015) Kaya, Ahmet SedatIn this thesis, three different algorithms with different perspectives (Close Couple, Worm, and Spider Web) has been developed to solve the Symmetric Traveling Salesman (TSP) heuristically. Improved algorithms with different data sets Distance Rate, Target have been tested. The running time and value of the solution have been compared. In this context, several steps of evaluation were used for the comparison and improvement of algorithms. After each evaluation step, one candidate algorithm is eliminated. Eventually, an improved version of the Spider Web algorithm is the winner of this contest.Master Thesis Sentiment analysis and opinion mining via microblogging in social media like: twitter(2015) Abd Al-Bnd, Mustafa SalmanThis research is a study of microblogging on social websites such as Twitter and shows the techniques of emotion detection and sentiment analysis for the same. This research has three objectives. The first objective is a discussion about how to extract and classify emotions in tweets using the unigram feature extractor with word presence or word frequency as a factor of extraction. High accuracy of classification is obtained when considering the word presence as a factor of extraction. Moreover, one can obtain high accuracy also by using word frequency as a factor of extraction when supplying the test data on training corpora of tweets in the case of multi-domain tweets. The second objective is the extraction and classification of the emotions of tweets using n-gram (1Master Thesis Design and manage website for College of Administration and Economics Diyala University(2015) Layth Talal, MohammedWith the fast development of information technology, websites have come to represent the main entrance for access to most institutions through fast communications and responses to various requests. The main objective of this thesis is to design a robust method of image watermarking for copy protection and copyright protection. The thesis consists principally from an overview of watermarking algorithm, types of watermarking, watermarking requirements. Further the watermarking techniques that are used in embedding. There are many watermarking techniques discussed in spatial domain and transform domains. The spatial domain watermarking algorithms still not resistant to lossy compression image, shed noise in the image and most operations of image processing. On the other hand, frequency domain watermarking techniques can embed more bits for watermark and the watermarked images are more robust to attack. Otherwise, in frequency domain we can embed more bits and more resistance to the attacks. However, comparing watermarking in DWT with watermarking in DCT, DWT has a number of advantages that led us to focus in discrete wavelet transform from other types of same domain. In this thesis, there are three different watermarking methods proposed in different levels DWT based on radon transform. All proposed methods are requires the presence of original image for watermark extraction. Each method is various from the other from the way of embedding the watermark, the number of watermarks that embedded and in which level the watermark embedded. Moreover, the watermarked image and attacked images measured by the PSNR that measuring the noise ratio in each image. Finally, we attempt to extract the watermark and attacked image, to determine the proportion of the deterioration that occurred after the attack or the embedding process.Master Thesis (alpha-psi) Type contractive mappings and related fixed point theorems(2016) Ürgüp, EdanurThis thesis consists of three sections.
