Bölümümüzün amacı eleştirel bakış açısına sahip, teorik bilgileri pratik uygulamalarla pekiştirerek iktisadi olguları kavrama ve yorumlama kabiliyeti yüksek, yenilikçi, araştırmayı ve analitik düşünmeyi benimseyen, problem çözme yetenekleri gelişmiş, iktisadi olguları sorgulayan ve güncel gelişmeleri takip ederek ileriye dönük projeksiyonlarda bulunabilen iktisatçılar yetiştirme kararlılığıyla, uluslararası standartlarda lisans ve lisansüstü programlar sunmaktadır.
The aim of our department is to train economists who have a critical perspective, who have a high ability to comprehend and interpret economic facts by consolidating theoretical knowledge with practical applications, who are innovative, who embrace research and analytical thinking, who have developed problem-solving skills, who question economic facts and who can make forward-looking projections by following current developments. It offers undergraduate and graduate programs at high standards.
